" I can live for two months on a good compliment"-- Mark Twain
Thoughts:
Many of us might be on the edge of giving up on something we work very hard on but, if what we do is appreciated and receives a little compliment, we will keep going. I hope to encourage each one of us to be a compliment giver rather than a fault finder. You will never know what impact it could give to somebody who is struggling to reach their goal. Even a simple compliment can give that person a drive to keep going. Like what Mark Twain said, it can make someone find life and live because of a good compliment. We should make an attitude to give compliments whenever someone impresses us or when we found something good in someone. It can make that person successful and continue fighting life because they know someone appreciates.
Let's choose positivity, let's give good compliments; it might save somebody from giving up.

I like it!! I am also trying to be a compliment giver everyday because these small things can change someone's life sometimes. Focusing on good things and having a good image on myself can really helps to improve myself.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your blog entries. This one especially resonates with me. It reminded me of a former coworker from many years ago who would always genuinely compliment me, during a time of my life when I was so unsure of myself. This was over a decade ago yet I still remember her fondly and the impact she had on my life. She taught me that compliments go a very long way, and we should give compliments to lift each other up! Thanks for sharing that Mark Twain quote!
